Based on modification of technology applied in 1998, AN production capacity of PT. MNK increases from 26.400 MT/Year to 37.000 MT/Year and NA with 55.000 MT/Year. Thus, it guarantees the supply of AN and NA to PT. MNK’s customers which are mostly mining and quarry industries.
The continuing AN production is secured by the availability of raw materials such as Ammonia (NH3) and Nitric Acid (HNO3) that pipelined into PT. MNK plant site, in which Ammonia is provided by PT. Pupuk Kujang located around PT. MNK, and NA is produced by PT. MNK itself. In addition, labor forces of PT. MNK are mostly from the people around plant site and having reliable experiences since 1990.
These all put PT. MNK as a secured supplier of AN explosive raw material. By increasing its production capacity to 137.000 MT/Year, PT. MNK contributes for about 40% to the AN domestic demand.
